Postdoctoral researchers In you are interested in doing a postdoc at our lab, you should email Dr. Störmer (vstoermer@ucsd.edu). Please include a brief summary of your background, your goals for your postdoctoral training, your website address (if available), your CV, and a representative publication. Although we are not actively recruiting postdocs at this time, we are always on the look out for excellent researchers. Graduate students We are looking for qualified graduate students to start September 2019. To apply, send an application to the UC San Diego Department of Psychology and indicate Dr. Störmer as the advisor you are primarily interested in working with. Applications are due late November in order to start the following September. Before applying, we recommend emailing with Dr. Störmer to express your interest. Please include some information about your research interests, previous research experience, and your CV when doing do. While a bachelors degree in Psychology, Neuroscience or related fields is required and programming skills (MATLAB/Python, C/C++, etc.) and experience with behavioral and/or EEG testing are desirable, we are also open to considering exceptional candidates from wider backgrounds. The psychology department offers support that is competitive and not restricted to U.S. citizens. Undergraduate students We are always looking for highly motivated undergraduate research assistants with strong interest in cognitive neuroscience, perception, attention, memory, and multisensory integration.
